How Icon Pupz
came to be
Every pup deserves to feel like an icon.
Icon Pupz began with a simple belief: dog grooming can feel different — it can be an experience. When founder Shay Eubanks envisioned Icon Pupz, the goal was never to create just another grooming salon. She wanted to build a space that combined exceptional pet care with thoughtful design, elevated service, and an experience that both dogs and their people could look forward to.
While Shay brought the vision, business direction, and passion behind Icon Pupz, she knew that building an exceptional grooming salon also meant listening to those who understood the craft firsthand. During the early development of Icon Pupz, Shay worked closely with professional groomer Dominique "Nique" Reedy, whose years of excellent hands-on grooming experience provided valuable insight into the salon's functionality, operations, equipment, and workflow. That collaboration helped bridge the vision for the Icon Pupz experience with the practical expertise needed to bring it to life.
We believe luxury isn't about being flashy. It's about care, quality, consistency, and the little details that make an experience feel special. Every dog who walks through our doors has their own personality, their own needs, and their own style — we want to know them, care for them, and help them leave looking, and feeling, like the icon they already are.
